Spot Dredging and Dredging Services

Is your boat struggling to enter or exit the lift, slip, or dock area due to built-up sand or silt?

We specialize in removing accumulated material with minimal to no disruption to your property, helping you restore safe and reliable water access.

Contact us for a free on-site consultation—we’ll assess the issue, discuss your options, and show you how our services can help you reclaim the full value and functionality of your waterfront property.

Our Residential Spot Dredging service utilizes high-powered pumps to efficiently remove sediment and debris from targeted problem areas. The dredged material is transferred directly into a waiting dump truck for immediate removal, or, if the property owner prefers, it can be relocated to another designated area.

In addition to hydraulic pumping, we also offer mechanical dredging services when conditions require a more robust approach. This method involves the use of specialized heavy equipment—such as excavators—to remove larger volumes of material or access hard-to-reach areas.

Whether your project calls for precision or power, we provide the right dredging solution to restore and maintain safe, navigable water access.

Advantage:

This dredging method is minimally invasive and causes little to no disruption to your dock, yard, landscaping, driveway, or surrounding areas. Once the work is complete, only a brief cleanup of the pumping hoses is required. You'll be able to resume full use of your boat and lift—no need to wait for high tide.

Permitting:

Permitting requirements can vary based on your location and the specific scope of your project. At Ark Marine, we take the guesswork out of the process by managing all necessary permits on your behalf, including those from:

  • Local Government Agencies
  • Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP)
  • South Florida Water Management District or other regional water authorities
  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Our team ensures all regulatory approvals are in place so your project moves forward smoothly and in full compliance.
